Duties:
- Plan and coordinate logistics for rental needs for all assigned
events
- Manage all aspects of rental delivery, set up and tear down for
upscale client events.
- On-site management of set-up crew and primary liaison to client on
site
- Manage crew members, and serve as key interface with other unit team
members, internal account team members, and external clients maximizing
productivity and delivering high quality service.
- Ensure critical deadlines and budgetary guidelines are adhered to
and response expectations and quality standards are met.
- Manage crisis situations effectively. Demonstrate ability to learn
and adapt to changing procedures or processes and assist in teaching
crew.
- Develop and nurture good relationships with clients and outsider
suppliers to enhance service, manage expectations, and respond to client
feedback in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements:
- CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) preferred
- 5-plus years relevant practical experience in special event
management
- Demonstrated ability as team leader, team member, and ability to
work independently to best serve client
- Demonstrated problem solving skills especially in crisis
situations
- Project Management experience to include meeting deadlines on
time and on budget
- PC experience with Windows operating system and a variety of
software programs (Microsoft Office) CAD a plus
- Spanish communications skills a plus
